Jason Gibbs joined the City of Santa Clarita as a first time Councilmember in December 2020, and currently serves as the Mayor Pro Tem.
Jason has been, and is currently, dedicated to serving the City and is heavily involved in the Santa Clarita community. He currently serves on the Advisory Board for the Boys and Girls Club of the Santa Clarita Valley and the Salvation Army, and previously sat on the executive committee for the Valley Industry Association and the WiSH Education Foundation.
Graduating from Cal Poly with his BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering, Jason went on to advance his career in the aerospace industry, working for GP Strategies Corporation as the Principal Engineer of West Coast Operations. Through this work, Jason has supported a number of rocket testing and launch programs, including the Delta II, Delta IV and Atlas V. Jason specializes in the design, maintenance, and mechanical integrity aspects of Ground
Support Equipment supporting these programs. Gibbs is a husband, father and a lifelong Californian. Jason and his wife Chandra have lived in Santa Clarita nearly a decade, which is where they decided to raise their two children (Aiden 5, Avery 4) and establish roots for their family.
Larry McClements is the Market Manager for the Old Town Newhall and Canyon Country Farmers Markets in Santa Clarita. He is responsible for finding and bringing high-quality artisan foods to both markets. He is a Santa Clarita resident since 1985 and is very active in the Santa Clarita food scene.
Stu Mundel joined the FOX 11 team in June 2020 as an aerial reporter providing live traffic and breaking news updates from SkyFOX. You can catch him weekday mornings on Good Day LA and FOX 11 News at Noon, bringing viewers vital information on brush fires, pursuits, dramatic rescues, and many other breaking news events. Outside of the newscasts, you can connect with him directly on FOX 11’s Facebook page as he regularly engages with our digital audiences, reading comments and responding live while he’s covering events from the sky. Mundel has been an iconic voice in the Los Angeles market, reporting from the helicopter over the last eight years for KCBS/KCAL before arriving at KTTV. Mundel is also known for his dramatic “Stu-isms” during breaking news events, such as “Boom!” and “Whoa!”
