EVENT FOUNDER NICOLE STINSON

Nicole Stinson is an active real estate broker and partner at Estate Realty Group with her co-chair Steve Portaro and has lived in the Santa Clarita Valley for 29 years. Nicole understands the value of giving back, investing time and energy in the community she lives in. Her depth of experience and knowledge of both the Santa Clarita Valley and all of Los Angeles is a valuable asset to clients. Nicole’s level of commitment to every one of her clients makes most of them clients for life. Nicole has chaired many nonprofit events and is the first to step up to help a charity in need, volunteering on something every month of the year, while running her own very successful Charity event for the 8th year in a row that she founded, the SCV Charity Chili Cook-Off. Nicole is serving her third term on the Southland Regional Association of Realtors Council, second term as Secretary/Treasurer of Women’s Council of Realtors and holds various other leadership positions in organizations across Southern California. Her leadership and organizational skills have won Nicole accolades from amongst her peers as well as those who put their trust in her. She and her business partner Steve Portaro devote endless time and more than half the year to the success of the SCV Charity Chili Cook-Off.

Steve and Nicole work as a team at Estate Realty Group selling real estate and managing properties in the SCV and all-around Los Angeles. Steve has owned and operated multiple business types, he has a lifelong sales and customer service background with extensive knowledge in design and marketing. Steve also manufactures his own line of furniture in LA selling all over the country.  Steve has become very active in the Santa Clarita community, volunteering at many events. Steve has been working on the technological side of the event, building a new website every year, creating ticketing systems, forms for registration, marketing, automatizing of the event and making sure that each year we raise our personal bar on the event to make it more successful for the charities and more fun and rewarding for the community.
